Yellow Abrasive Nosing
Yellow abrasive nosing is designed for high definition in low light and extra grip. All yellow abrasive nosings are mechanically fastened to grating, so they are easily removable. Our yellow abrasive nosings are usually available with the standard size 70mm X 30mm X 3mm, and nonstandard sizes are also supplied upon request.

Perf-O Nonslip Metal Nosings are also known as Handi-Treads Non-Slip Stair Nosings.
Handi-Treads Non-Slip Stair Nosings are a permanent solution to slip, trip and fall hazards on both outdoor and indoor stairs.  
Handi-Treads Non-Slip Stair Nosings feature their raised traction buttons, and these buttons not only provide increased slip resistance, but also are self-cleaning in any weather making them superior to grit tape and girt paint.  
Our Perf-O Nonslip Metal Nosings or Handi-Treads Non-Slip Stair Nosings are characterized by the following:

3. Important Notes about Our Grating Stair Treads

(1) Tec-Sieve can manufacture press welded carbon steel plain/serrated bar grating stair treads to any length, however standard lengths are 600mm, 650mm, 750mm, 900mm, 1000mm and 1200mm. Recommended widths of stair treads are 205mm, 245mm, and 285mm, but other widths can be custom fabricated upon request.

Our tread length and width tolerance are shown in the sketch below.

(2) Our press welded carbon steel plain/serrated bar grating stair tread is manufactured with a defined visible nonslip nosing and two pre-punched and slotted end carrier plates, ready for bolting to stair stringers.

In terms of the pre-punched and slotted end carrier plate, Tec-Sieve press welded carbon steel smooth/serrated bar grating stair treads usually need two flat bars measuring 65mm X 5mm used as end carrier plates. As a rule, 1No Φ14mm bolt hole and 1No Φ14 ellipse bolt hole are pre-punched on each of the two end carrier plates. End carrier plates with special dimensional and location requirements can also be custom fabricated in response to our customer's particular job.
