About Tec-Sieve
Hebei Tec-Sieve Wire Mesh Products Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as Tec-Sieve) is a leading manufacturer and exporter of crimped wire mesh screens in China.
Since its inception in 1995, Tec-Sieve has been focusing on research & development, design, and manufacture of crimped wire mesh screens. Our decades of experience in the wire cloth industry qualifies as an invaluable wealth that helps us turn out high quality crimped wire mesh screens in mild steel, high carbon abrasion resistant steel (65Mn Steel), galvanized steel, stainless steel, aluminum alloy (Grade 5154 or 5052, etc.), brass, red copper and many other metals and in a diverse range of mesh counts and openings.
At Tec-Sieve, we are equipped with many types of machines, including state-of-the-art cold wire drawing machines, wire crimping machines and wire weaving machines. Meanwhile Tec-Sieve always prides itself on its over 40 senior technicians and skilled workers.
In addition, we now carry a wide range of crimping dies which can meet technical specs of most customers, namely a variety of opening sizes and wire diameter. However, our team of experts also understands that crimping patterns may be endless due to the unlimited imagination of those great designers from all over the world, so we also develop custom-designed crimping dies for any individualized crimping patterns that are proposed by them.
Last but not least, our fabrication capabilities, together with our capacity to custom weave almost any specification, enable us to manufacture turnkey products at competitive prices.
Today our top-quality crimped wire mesh screens have gained wide popularity among our customers around the world. These customers come from USA, Canada, Europe, Middle East, Asia and Africa, etc.
Our crimped wire screen cloth is made of metal wires that have been crimped prior to weaving. Metal wires are crimped before the weaving operation, so this weave style is also known as pre-crimped weave. The pre-crimping operation enables both the warp and weft wires to nest securely with each other restricting their random movement and ensuring an accurate and consistent opening size. And the pre-crimped weaving technique adds strength and rigidity to woven wire mesh screens.
Our crimped wire mesh screens are manufactured from many types of materials and in wire sizes usually ranging from 0.41mm to 12.7mm diameter or greater, and their clear openings size usually ranges from 0.65mm to 250mm.
Our material types for crimped wire mesh screens include, but are not limited to, carbon steel, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals and special materials.
In the wire cloth industry, most crimped wire mesh screens are manufactured in plain weaving.
Our pre-crimped weave mainly involves 5 types of crimping patterns, i.e. double crimp, intermediate crimp, lock crimp, flat top crimp and triple shute crimp.
Our crimped wire mesh screens are widely used in a wide range of industries, such as wastewater, oil refining, mining and aggregate, food processing, security, construction and architectural industries, which require strength and rigidity. Especially in the mining and aggregate industry, there is an urgent need for something to screen, size, sort and filter heavy or large materials, so our crimped wire mesh screens can be used as sieves or vibration screening media and installed in vibrating screen machines properly before they bring about their functions of screening, sizing, sorting, and filtering to the fullest.

Our crimped wire mesh screens are classified as square aperture mesh screens and rectangular aperture (or slotted opening) mesh screens according to their geometry (or hole pattern).
Square Aperture Mesh Screens
Square aperture mesh screens are widely used as screening media in the mining and aggregate industries, due to their high precision and high tensile strength.
Our square aperture mesh screens are characterized by:

At Tec-Sieve, our crimped wire screen cloth panels can be edge hooked by either plain wire bending or metal sheathing and bending in response to different specifications of screen panels. In terms of the metal sheathing and bending process, a choice of sheathing materials is available for your different applications. For example, galvanized steel is the most commonly used metal in the mining and aggregate industry; copper is ideal for heated screen decks; and stainless steel is very suitable for wet and/or food processing applications.
Also, rubber inserts are available for fine meshes.
Now we list some examples of our standard hooked edges on the table below:
Type No. | Type Name | Sketch With General Dimensions in Millimeters |
Specification |
TSS-1 | Plain Wire Hooked Edge | ![]() |
Plain Wire Hooked Edge is bent over at a 45 to 65-degree angle without any sheathing materials, and it is suitable for screen sections or panels of 8mm and larger diameter wire. Edges are annealed by controlled heating before forming to eliminate cracking and breakage. |
TSS-2 | Metal Sheathed Hooked Edge | ![]() |
Metal Sheathed Hooked Edge is standard for screens of up to 10mm wire diameter. Our metal sheathing thickness is 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm or other values available upon request. Sheathed hooked edges are designed to increase strength and prevent the mesh pulling out of the hooks. |
For hooked edges not shown above or any special dimensions you require, please feel free to email your non-standard hook requirements or your special dimensions to us and our engineers will be more than happy to offer a satisfactory solution for you.
