Hebei Tec-Sieve Wire Mesh Products Co., Ltd. (Tec-Sieve for short) is a leading manufacturer and exporter of a wide range of metal mesh and grating products in China. Back in 2011, Tec-Sieve has started its exportation business. Its R & D capabilities and metal mesh & grating products of top quality have been highly appraised by its overseas customers.
Our metal mesh and grating products are classed as woven wire meshes/cloths/screens, perforated metal plate screens, expanded metal meshes/gratings, welded wire meshes, and fabricated metal mesh & grating products.
The Item "test sieves" features prominently in all our wide range of fabricated metal mesh & grating products, and our test sieves are fabricated with high standards of workmanship and materials at Tec-Sieve.
For more than 20 years, our high standards of materials, including our precision woven wire screens and perforated plate screens, have been responsible for the excellent performance of our stainless steel and brass test sieves conforming with a variety of national and international standards to successfully perform a wide range of screening tasks.
What Is a Test Sieve?
A test sieve is a scientific screening instrument, which usually uses a screening or sieving medium (woven wire screen, perforated plate screen, or electroformed material) with openings of uniform size and shape mounted on a rigid frame to help generate a reliable particle size distribution curve.
The rigid frame is usually made of stainless steel or brass in a cylindrical configuration.
Typically, a number of test sieves with various mesh openings are stacked on top of each other to separate the particles of a material sample based on their size.
What Is a Perforated-Plate Sieve?
A perforated-plate sieve is a test sieve, which always houses a perforated metal plate screen (a screening or sieving medium, usually made of galvanized steel, stainless steel, brass or bronze) with a number of holes of uniform size and shape that allow for accurate particle screening.
These holes are laser cut to ensure accuracy and can be round, square or slotted in shape.
As a rule, the perforated metal plate screen is mounted on a rigid round stainless steel or brass frame.
How to Understand Our Product Model TS-100, TS-200, TS-300, TS-400, TS-450, TS-500, TS-600, and TS-700 Test Sieves?
At Tec-Sieve, our product model TS-600 test sieves refer to those standard test sieves with 600mm diameter frames permitted by the ISO 3310 specifications.
Similarly, our product model TS-100 test sieves, TS-200 test sieves, TS-300 test sieves, TS-400 test sieves, TS-450 test sieves, TS-500 test sieves and TS-700 test sieves mean respectively those standard test sieves with 100mm, 200mm, 300mm, 400mm, 450mm, 500mm and 700mm diameter frames permitted by the ISO 3310 specifications.
On the recommendation of the ISO 3310 specifications, the 200mm diameter round metal frame should be used for test sieving purposes as far as possible. However, for smaller or larger quantities of material to be sieved, a smaller (such as 100mm diameter) or larger (such as 300mm, 400mm, 450mm, 500mm, 600mm or 700mm diameter) frame can also be utilized.
To sieve 30kgs iron ore sample, our factory has manufactured a batch of product model TS-600 test sieves for our African customer.
Each of our product model TS-600 test sieves consists of three components: A stainless-steel sieve frame at the top, a stainless-steel sieve skirt at the bottom, and a metal screen (sieve cloth) at the middle.
Furthermore, our stainless-steel frames are constructed by using the spot-welding process that uses the combination of pressure and heat through an electrical current to join two metal pieces. This technique is the best choice for sheet metals only, as concentrated current eliminates resistance from the spot and facilitates the fusion process.
The skirt is designed to fit all frames, bottom pans, and nesting pans of the same diameter for convenient stacking.
It should be noted that the metal screen can be either a stainless-steel woven wire screen or a perforated metal screen. The metal screen is stretched fully, and then fixed tightly and closely in between the frame and the skirt in a specially combined manner.
