Classification of Screen Mesh

Our crimped wire mesh screens are classified as square aperture mesh screens and rectangular aperture (or slotted opening) mesh screens according to their geometry (or hole pattern).
       Square Aperture Mesh Screens
       Square aperture mesh screens are widely used as screening media in the mining and aggregate industries, due to their high precision and high tensile strength.
         Our square aperture mesh screens are characterized by:

• Carbon steel, stainless steel, 65Mn steel and galvanized steel are available
• Double crimp, intermediate crimp, lock crimp and flat top crimp mesh screens are available
• Excellent tear and wear resistance and a long useful life.

        Our square aperture mesh screens are divided into four types according to their crimping patterns:

Notes:

1. Steel grades #45 and 65Mn are the most extensively used carbon steel grades.
2. According to our up-to-date technology, metal sheathed hooked edges can be applied to pre-crimped weave wire screen panels or sections with wire diameters up to 10mm. 
3. Any technically reasonable combination of aperture size and wire diameter not shown herein can be custom made upon request.

Rectangular Aperture (or Slotted Opening) Mesh Screens
      Our rectangular aperture (or slotted opening) Mesh Screens mainly involve Long-Slot Single-Shoot Mesh Screens and Long-Slot Triple-Shoot Mesh Screens.
      Both Long-Slot Single-Shoot Mesh Screens and Long-Slot Triple-Shoot Mesh Screens provide maximum open area and tend to prevent blinding or plugging of material (damp or sticky material does not build up on the longer openings), thus offering more throughput and a better self-cleaning effect than square aperture Mesh Screens.
      Long-Slot Mesh Screens are pre-crimped specifically to provide better sizing accuracy. They can be manufactured in a "flat-top" weave for more uniform wear and are available in a wide range of smaller dimensions and slot lengths. The smaller dimension controls the sizing of material.
      Our rectangular aperture (or slotted opening) Mesh Screens feature that:

      1. Carbon steel, stainless steel, 65Mn steel and galvanized steel are available

      2. Double crimp, intermediate crimp, lock crimp and flat top crimp are available

      3. Excellent tear and wear resistance and a long useful life

Notes: Steel grades #45 and 65Mn are the most extensively used carbon steel grades. According to our up-to-date technology, metal sheathed hooked edges can be applied to pre-crimped weave wire screen panels or sections with wire diameters up to 10mm. In terms of Long-Slot Triple-Shoot Mesh Screens, three shoot wires in adjacent crimps are followed by the long slot and repeated. Based upon this fact, each of 2Nos crimping wheels has a cluster of teeth and a flat area which corresponds to the long straight section of the screen cloth. The two wheels are identical in size and shape. Any combination of slotted opening size and wire diameter that are not shown herein can be custom made upon request, provided that the combination is technically feasible.

Technical Info on Hook Strips

 At Tec-Sieve, our crimped wire screen cloth panels can be edge hooked by either plain wire bending or metal sheathing and bending in response to different specifications of screen panels. In terms of the metal sheathing and bending process, a choice of sheathing materials is available for your different applications.
      For example, galvanized steel is the most commonly used metal in the mining and aggregate industry; copper is ideal for heated screen decks; and stainless steel is very suitable for wet and/or food processing applications.
      Also, rubber inserts are available for fine meshes.

TSS-1	Plain Wire Hooked Edge		Plain Wire Hooked Edge is bent over at a 45 to 65-degree angle without any sheathing materials, and it is suitable for screen sections or panels of 8mm and larger diameter wire. Edges are annealed by controlled heating before forming to eliminate cracking and breakage.
TSS-2	Metal Sheathed Hooked Edge		Metal Sheathed Hooked Edge is standard for screens of up to 10mm wire diameter. Our metal sheathing thickness is 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm or other values available upon request. Sheathed hooked edges are designed to increase strength and prevent the mesh pulling out of the hooks.

A1: Yes, you can. Our fabrication capabilities, together with our capacity to custom weave almost any specification, enable us to manufacture custom-made crimped wire mesh products at competitive prices for every customer.

Q2: Can I get a small sample from your factory so that our people can examine its quality before we arrive at a decision to buy from your factory?
A2: Yes, you can. In order for every customer from all over the world to come to know our quality crimped wire mesh products, our management have decided to fabricate a small sample at no charge to the customer, but the customer shall send for the ready-made sample at our factory.

Q3: How could I know whether my order is being executed or not?
A3: Don't worry about it. Our production manager will closely follow up on the production progress, and we will give you relevant pictures and/or videos from time to time so that you can have real-time knowledge of how your order is being executed.
